Great conversation with people in their 60’s and music made great in the 60’s played by a cooperative DJ who will take requests and allow you to Twist or Gator to your heart’s content (Gator lessons are not included in the cost; it is way too late for such foolishness if you are still unaware of this charming dance.). What more could you possibly want?! Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served all evening with a cash bar for adult beverages. There is no charge for coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
Note that we are not hosting a Friday night event for this reunion. If anyone in the class wishes to organize additional activities for the class, let me know and we’ll publicize it the next email. I’ve already heard about some tentative plans for elementary school lunches; let me know if they materialize. Reach out to your friends and plan to spend a fun week-end in Dallas with them! Our Aug. 19 Reunion is not that far in the future. See you soon!
