John D. Dodd – 1958: Sunset Track Team, 1956-58; Mayor, Farmers Branch, Texas; Vice President, Dallas School Board; Chairman, Dallas Mental Health and Retardation Board; former Chairman, “Miss Texas Pageant”.
Mickey Jones – 1959: Sunset Senior Play, “The Man Who Came to Dinner”, 1959; Musician and movie and television actor; Drummer for Bob Dylan’s World Tour, as well as Trini Lopez and Johnny Rivers; numerous film credits as “bad guy”.
Michael A. Jenkins – 1960:  One of four Founders of Six Flags Amusement Parks; Founder and Owner, LARC Entertainment Systems; former President and Chief Operating Officer, Dallas Summer Musicals (1994-2016); Winner of four Tony Awards.
Mary Evelyn Merritt White – 1960: Sweetheart of Sunset, 1960; Nationally known Interior Decorator; Initiate of Iota Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority at The University of Texas; Founding Advisor, Xi Kappa Chapter at Texas A&M; involved in design of National Headquarters in Memphis, TN; Awarded; Chi Omega President’s Award, 1996.
Billy Foster – 1961: Member, Sunset City Champion Track Teams, 1960/1961; State Champion in long jump at 1960 State Meet; State Champion in 100 yard dash, 220 yard dash and long jump at 1961 State Meet.
Dr. Robert W. Haley – 1963: Sunset Student Body President, 1963;  Chief of Epidemiology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical School; holds U.S. Armed Forces Veteran’s Distinguished Chair for Medical Research, Honoring America’s Gulf War Veterans; Nation’s leading authority on Gulf War Syndrome; Past President, Dallas County Medical Society.
Michael Yeargan – 1964: Winner of two Tony Awards for “Best Scenic Design in a Musical” for “Light in the Piazza”, 2005 and “South Pacific”, 2008 on Broadway
John Cerminaro – 1965: Drum Major, Bison Band, 1965; Principal horn player of the New York Philharmonic; Los Angeles Philharmonic and Seattle Symphony Orchestra
Jody Seay – 1967: Author of three Award Winning books; wrote Musical and Produced and Hosted TV Show for 10 years; Member, Texas Radio Hall of Fame and recipient of 2018 SAMMY Award for Outstanding Women in Texas Radio Broadcasting.
