About Us
The Sunset High School Alumni Association is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization with a focus on supporting the students, faculty and school through a combination of alumni donations and fund raising. Each year the alumni association reviews and awards grant requests by the faculty based on need. Through the generosity of our alumni, we have been able to grant back more than $70K to the students and faculty.
Funds were also raised to complete some important school projects such as refurbishing and rehanging the National Honor Society Boards and cleaning, restoring and rehanging the World War II plaque to honor those Sunset students and faculty who died for our freedom. We have beautified the landscape on Jefferson Street and helped to ensure the historical Sanger trophy will reside in the Old Red Courthouse as a lasting tribute to achievements of Sunset.
Your alumni association is here to make sure Sunset students are successful and continue the tradition of:
Spirit, Knowledge, Friendship.
