William Muryel "Zeke" Campbell -  1931: Western Swing’s first great lead and solo playing guitarist; played with Light Crust Dough Boys in mid-1930’s – appeared in Gene Autry movies with Doughboys –“Oh Susannah” and “The Big Show”; By 1937, he was using electric guitar on Doughboy recordings –“Blue Guitars”, “Green Valley Trot”, “South” and “Waitin’ on the Robert E. Lee”
Gordeon D. Gayle - 1934: Brigadier General, United States Marines Corps; Commanded Troops at Guadalcanal, Korea, Okinawa, UK, US; awarded Bronze Star, Navy Cross, Purple Heart, Navy/Marines Command Medal, Legion of Merit
Leroy Parramore - 1941: ​Sunset ROTC; During World War II, flew unarmed planes for United States Air Force from China to India delivering oil and gas; volunteered for 14th  Division and became Member of famed  “Flying Tigers”, flying with co-pilot, future Alaskan U.S. Senator Ted Stevens; Invited by Chinese Ambassador to attend 70th Anniversary of VJ Day; awarded two Gold Medals
Don Nelson - 1954: NASA Official for 36 years working in Asteroid Planetary Defense; Support Team Member, first space rendezvous, first manned Moon Mission, first manned lunar landing and first flight of Space Shuttle; author, “NASA New Millennium Problems and Solutions”
Les Studdard - 1963: ​General Manager, Meyerson Symphony Center at City of Dallas; Sales and Event Manager, City of Dallas – Fair Park Administration;  Managing Director,  Music Hall at Fair Park; Manager, Majestic Theater
Ron Luke -  1967: Principal consultant and President of Research & Planning Consultants, LP; force behind “Kathleen Hood Award of Excellence” given to Sunset Students each year 
Steve Holleman - 1972: Coached baseball for 39 years at Owasso, Oklahoma High School, winning 13 State Championships; received the National American Baseball Coaches Association, “Assistant Coach of the Year” Award; Varsity Assistant for premier baseball programs throughout Oklahoma 
Staci Levine -  1984:​ Bisonette Captain; three Tennis Letters; “Fiddler on the Roof” lead role; Student Government Officer; “Bison of the Year”; 23 years on Broadway!  Broadway Producer and Owner, Groundswell Theatricals, Inc.; works with John Lithgow, Mandy Patinkin, Patti LuPone, Lisa Lampanelli, Nathan Gunn, Taylor Mac, Nina Conti, et al; started career with major Broadway Productions
